Slumdog kids hate new/old life back in the slums (w/pics)
From rags to red carpet back to rags. The Slumdog Millionaire child actors were taken out of the abject poverty they grew up in, thrust upon the red carpet, feted in Los Angeles, taken to Disney, and then were unceremoniously dumped back into the slums. They are both having a very difficult time readjusting, as depicted in heartbreaking photos.
Pirate Bay Trial Day 5: Peter’s “Political Trial”
It’s Day 5 at The Pirate Bay trial. Will colorful site spokesman Peter Sunde stand up to the pressure? There seems little doubt of that, but the Prosecution are trying to make it as difficult as possible by introducing yet more uncleared evidence. 50% of Charges Against Pirate Bay Dropped
There has been high drama on the second day of the Pirate Bay trial. Due to serious shortcomings in the prosecution evidence, around 50% of the charges in the case are going to have to be withdrawn. The defense describes it as a ’sensation’, seeing half of the charges being dropped on the second day.
Holy Bad News, Batfans! No ‘Dark Knight’ Sequel for 2 Years
Holy bad news, Batfans. Looks like a Dark Knight sequel is at least two years away. Director Christopher Nolan has inked a deal with Warner Bros. to helm Inception, based on his own screenplay. The sci-fi action film “set within the architecture of the mind” aims to begin shooting this summer and hit theaters in summer 2010, according to studio.
